Wondr Smartlabs
Code and play with sphero robots, teach them how move, dance and may even to paint!
Appropriate for ages 3-9
Wondr Smart Labs is a STEAM-based program that incorporates the Pequot culture. We currently do monthly sessions with Mashantucket Pequot Tribal (MPTN) students ages 4-18 at the MPTN Community Center and Child Development Center. We have also done Smart Labs sessions at UCFS in Norwich and at the Drop-In Learning Center. Our lesson plans are developed by our partners such as AISES (Advancing Indigenous People in STEM), the Connecticut Science Center, and the Mashantucket Pequot Museum.
Free and open to kids entering 2nd grade and up; parents are welcome!
