The best thing we can do is try to minimize exposure to toxic ingredients, and sometimes the answer is to learn how to make your own from simpler, healthier ingredients.

Kim (yes, library Kim) started making her own laundry and dishwasher detergent this year, and Maxie has been using homemade products for a long time.
