Children’s Programs


 New – Boys Book Club for boys in grades 3 to 5.  Our new Boys Book Club (grades 3 to 5) meets monthly after school beginning October 22nd. This fall, we’re reading Where the Red Fern Grows and designing a walking stick and mobile/chime. Sign up and borrow the book from the library.

Our Mother-Daughter Book Club is back. Copies are available at the library. The book club is open to girls ages 9 to 12 and their mothers. Both mothers and daughters are encouraged to read the book and come ready to share thoughts, ideas, and favorite passages. Registration is required. Copies of the books are available at the library. Kids’ Time at the library:

toddler paintTuesdays – Paint and play – 10:30 to 11:30. We’ll have a painting project for budding artists and toys to play with downstairs. This activity is for children up to age six, along with a caregiver. Registration encouraged, drop-ins welcome.

Wednesdays – Story Hour – at 10:15. Infant to age five with caregiver. There might be stories, music, dance, crafts, socialization, and much more. No registration necessary.The best story time in town!

Thursdays – Yoga for Kids with Kim Signor. Ages 2 to 6 w/caregiver. 10:15 Please register; drop-ins welcome, too.
